Katie Fontenot

Katie Fontenot is a seasoned professional in event management with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Meeting Event Manager at Maritz since July 2022, Katie previously held the position of Director of Events at the Baton Rouge Area Chamber from May 2017 to July 2022. Earlier roles include Outreach Coordinator at Louisiana State University, Event Manager and Sales Coordinator at White Lodging Services, and Reservations and Group Coordinator as well as Welcome Desk Agent at W Hotels. Katie began a career in hospitality at Ameristar Casino as a Hostess. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Purdue University Northwest, earned in 2010.
