Katy Hawkins

Katy Hawkins is an accomplished architect with extensive experience in both structural engineering and architectural design. Currently serving as an Associate at Mark Cavagnero Associates since July 2014, Katy specializes in projects for nonprofit and community organizations, including the notable San Francisco Conservatory of Music Bowes Center, which is set to provide student housing and performance spaces. Previously, at The Office of Charles F. Bloszies, FAIA, from September 2005 to July 2014, Katy focused on adaptive reuse projects and multi-family residential buildings. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan, where instruction in structural engineering was provided, and working as a Staff Structural Engineer at Patrick Engineering. Katy holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
