Tim Hannaway

Tim Hannaway is the current Managing Director at Mark G. Anderson Consultants, Inc. Hannaway has over 20 years of experience in the engineering, design, and project management industry.

Hannaway started their career at Ai / Ellstreet Corporation as the Operations Director for Architecture. In 1997, they transitioned to Jones Lang LaSalle as the Assistant Vice President for Project and Development Services. After three years, they became the Managing Director for Washington, D.C. Americas Engineering, Design & Project Management at Faithful+Gould. In 2008, Hannaway became the Managing Director at Faithful+Gould and was with the company until 2019 when they left to join Mark G. Anderson Consultants, Inc.

Throughout their career, Hannaway has had experience working on a variety of projects including construction document preparation, construction, project closeout, and sustainability. Tim is known for being an effective owner’s advocate and excels in balancing conflicting requirements.

After completing their undergraduate degree in architecture at Virginia Tech, Tim Hannaway went on to earn their master's degree in the same field from the same school.

They work with Ashley O'Connor - Managing Director, Matt Klaff - SVP, National Business Development, and Kris Collins - Managing Director. Their manager is Mark Anderson, Founder & President.
