Sandra Tu

Sandra Tu started their work experience as a Data Cleaner & Python Developer at WritePath in 2018. Sandra was responsible for cleaning and delimiting data and wrote Python scripts to parse and align fragmented files. Sandra also worked closely with colleagues during this role.

In 2021, Sandra worked as a Geospatial Web Development Intern at Omanos Analytics through the Space Placement in Industry (SPIN) program managed by the UK Space Agency. Sandra'smain task was to create an interactive web platform to explore VIIRS nightfire data from the Suomi NPP satellite, focusing on its impact on local communities. By the end of their internship, they had successfully developed a working prototype of a browser-based VIIRS analysis tool.

Currently, Sandra is working as a Graduate Software Engineer at MarktoMarket starting in 2022.

Sandra Tu began their education at UWC South East Asia in 2014. However, no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period. Following their time at UWC South East Asia, they attended The University of Edinburgh from 2018 to 2022, where they pursued a BSc (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science with a focus on Computer Software Engineering.
