Alex Grant

Alex Grant is a Principal Software Engineer and Team Lead at Markel since August 2019. Previously, Alex served as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer and Application Architect at IXI Services, a division of Equifax, from November 2015 to August 2019, focusing on Big Data digital marketing products and legacy code modernization while utilizing Agile methodologies. Earlier experience includes a Software Engineer role at Microsoft from July 2008 to November 2015, where Alex was involved in developing new features for Microsoft Office and conducting various software testing functions. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, earned in 2008.
