Brian Tkacz

Brian Tkacz is an experienced executive in the fields of information technology and financial services, currently serving as Managing Director of Information Technology at Markel since April 2015, after holding senior roles within the company. Additionally, Brian has been a member of the Board of Directors at United Security Bank since November 2017. Previous positions include Director of Consumer Lending at Capital One, where responsibilities included leading the Home Equity marketing and product strategy, and multiple product management roles at Progressive Insurance, overseeing substantial P&L across various states. Brian started a professional career as a consultant at CGI and Accenture, directing software development projects and performing business analysis tasks. Brian holds an MBA in General Management from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.
