Cory Connell

Cory Connell is the Director of Reinsurance IT at Markel, a position held since 2021. Previously, Cory worked as an Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Barbados from 1998 to 2003, and held various roles at Markel Corporation, including Financial Systems Analyst and Manager of Reinsurance IT, from 2004 to 2014. Cory also served as Group Financial Controller at Imagine Insurance Company Limited from 2002 to 2004. Cory earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with Upper Second Class Honours from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus.
