Jed Loftis

Jed Loftis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the insurance and underwriting sectors. Currently serving as Vice President and Regional Underwriter at Markel since December 2020, Jed has previously held key positions including Regional Surety Manager at Allianz Trade and Assistant Vice President at Zurich Insurance. Prior to that, a Senior Underwriter in the Surety division at Tokio Marine HCC and an Underwriter at Arch Insurance Group Inc. were part of Jed's career trajectory. Additionally, Jed served as a Captain and Maneuver Officer in the US Army from 2006 to 2014. Educationally, Jed holds a Master of Business Administration in International Business from the SMU Cox School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
