Tyler Joiner

Tyler Joiner, CFA, serves as the Director of Binding P&C Product Line Leadership at Markel since September 2014, where contributions include co-leading the Data Team's integration into the business and engaging constructively with associates to address challenges through data-enabled solutions. Tyler has successfully developed a talent-forward culture and employed innovative methodologies to solve operational issues. Prior experiences include pivotal roles at Urban Outfitters, where financial leadership helped achieve early profitability for the BHLDN brand, and at Fannie Mae, where analytical insights improved risk assessment and decision-making processes. Tyler holds a Master's degree in Commerce, specializing in Finance and Marketing, from the University of Virginia.
