Eelco De Jong

Eelco de Jong has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Directeur Aansprakelijkheid at Markel Nederland since December 2016. Prior roles include Manager Aansprakelijkheid at Markel International Nederland from April 2015 to December 2016 and Senior Underwriter Liability at Markel International from July 2011 to April 2015. Eelco de Jong began a career in underwriting at Nassau Verzekeringen, where a position as Senior Underwriter was held from October 2006 to June 2011, complemented by an internship at HCC Specialty Underwriters in 2009. Eelco de Jong holds a Master in Law, specializing in Corporate Law, from Erasmus University Rotterdam, having studied from 1999 to 2006.
