Tim Marsden

Tim Marsden has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tim is currently working as the Head of MI and Analytics at Markerstudy Insurance since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the BI and Data Warehousing Manager at Water Plus Business from 2016 to 2020. During their time at Water Plus Business, Tim was responsible for setting up a BI function from scratch and managing a team of 18 developers and BA's. Tim successfully delivered various projects, including a business-wide data warehouse and innovative data visualization techniques. Tim played a key role in identifying and achieving substantial financial benefits for the company through operational effectiveness and process improvement.

Before joining Water Plus Business, Tim held multiple roles at RAC, starting as a Sas programmer in 1992 and progressing to become the BI Data and Reporting Manager from 2012 to 2016. Tim managed a team of 9 BI developers and contributed to significant projects such as the migration from SAS to SQL Server and the development of a B2B reporting portal.

Prior to RAC, Tim gained experience as a Service Manager at Peugeot from 1990 to 1992 and as a Signalman in the HM Forces from 1987 to 1990.

Tim Marsden attended Kingsmead in Hednesford from 1982 to 1987, but they did not pursue a degree or specialize in a particular field of study.
