Joan Ulrich

Joan is responsible for all aspects of gift, floral, design, lighting and home leasing strategy at Dallas Market Center.

With over twenty years of tradeshow, wholesale and consumer show industry experience, she launched her career with Enesco and went on to hold leadership roles at Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc. (MMPI), Chicago Merchandise Mart, 7 West 34th in New York and the LA Mart, as well as overseeing temporary events in Chicago and LA.

Joan was the developer of consumer events in Chicago, including: The One of a Kind Show, The Artist Project and the International Antiques Fair. Following her time at MMPI she spent four years at Urban Expositions involved in various management roles within their 32 events, most of which were gift and souvenir industry trade events. Most recently Joan launched Uncommon Markets, a monthly art and entertainment series of events in Phoenix.
