Market In was founded in 1990. 

Despite the adverse market conditions during the early years of Market In, the company succeeded in establishing itself and becoming one of the top 10 Super Market companies in Greece within 36 years.

Beginning as a member of the "ASTERAS" group of retail grocery stores and later in the "ELOMAS" group of retail grocery stores, Market In became independent in the year 2007 and since then it is an autonomous group of companies.

Acquiring stores from other grocery chains, Market In has managed from 1999 to today to include more than 150 new stores in its power.
Market In actually lists a chain of 261 stores across Greece in the year 2026, and still continues to follow its program of opening stores in areas where Market In has no presence.

Our vision is to become the first 100% Greek Grocery chain of stores, always aiming at the quality of our products at the lowest market prices and insisting on the service that only Market In, for years now, knows to provide you!

Market In employs more than 4.000 people, offering great social work in today's difficult conditions. From August 2013 Market In uses the new modern facilities of the group, which are the company office and the new logistics center.
