Ajit Dandekar

Ajit Dandekar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ajit co-founded Market Pulse in 2019 and continues to play a role in its operations. Prior to this, from 2013 onwards, Ajit worked as a guest faculty and workshop coordinator at various design and technical institutes, where they taught and mentored students and conducted design thinking workshops for corporates and educational institutions. In 2015, Ajit became a consultant and co-founder at Design Punch, a creative agency specializing in communication design. Ajit was responsible for design research, strategy, packaging design, and interaction design. At Nascent InfoTechnologies Pvt. Ltd., Ajit served as a senior design manager from 2014 to 2015, leading the UX+UI design team and working on digital projects in various domains. Prior to that, Ajit worked as an independent design consultant from 2012 to 2014, undertaking projects in design research, strategy, service design, and packaging design for multiple sectors. Ajit has also worked at Lumium Innovations as a design research lead and design manager, focusing on user research and strategy. Additionally, Ajit gained experience as a project associate in design management at Estuary Labs and as an officer in packaging development at Unilever Ltd.

Ajit Dandekar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Production Engineering from the University of Mumbai, from 1999 to 2003. Ajit then pursued Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging Technology (PGDPT) from the Indian Institute of Packaging, Mumbai, from 2004 to 2006.

In 2007, Ajit enrolled at the National Institute of Design, specializing in Strategic Design Management, and graduated with a Post Graduate Diploma in Design (PGDPD) in 2009.

Additionally, in July 2017, Ajit obtained a certification as a Fitness Trainer from the K11 Academy of Fitness Sciences.
