Portia Kalin is a seasoned professional in hedge fund sales, currently serving in the role of Hedge Fund Sales at MARKET SECURITIES LLP since February 2023. With a robust background that includes positions such as Director of eFX Hedge Fund Sales at both MFP Trading Ltd and CURVE MARKETS (UK) LTD, Portia has accumulated extensive experience in the financial services industry. Previous roles encompass Senior Vice President of FX Prime Brokerage Sales at Newedge and Senior Vice President of FX Sales at Jefferies & Company. Additionally, Portia held Vice President positions in FX Sales at both Nomura Securities and Bear Stearns Investment Bank. Portia began a career in finance at BNP Paribas as part of the Graduate Programme focusing on the FX Hedge fund sales desk. Portia holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from the University of Birmingham.
