Balaji Chakrawar ( Bandu)

Balaji (Bandu) Chakrawar is an experienced operations and project manager with a strong background in data quality assurance and field coordination. Currently serving as an Operations Manager at Market Xcel Data Matrix Pvt. Ltd. since June 2023, Balaji has been with HOPARD as a Project Manager since September 2017. Previous roles include Field Coordinator for the Population Council from May 2016 to 2017, where responsibilities included monitoring fieldwork and ensuring data quality for national nutrition surveys. Balaji also worked as a Quality Assurance Officer for Bihar Technical Support Unit from April 2015 to March 2016, facilitating training and monitoring data quality in Bihar. Between 1998 and 2015, Balaji coordinated and facilitated numerous training sessions while managing fieldwork at the Center for Operations Research and Training, completing over 25 projects across 17 states in India. Balaji holds an MA in Sociology and Social Work from Marathwada University, completed in 2017.
