Anton Sherkhonov has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Anton is currently working as a Sr. Platform Engineer at MarketAxess since August 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at Walmart, including Sr Platform Engineer for New Product Innovation from March 2020 to August 2021, and Sr Platform Engineer at Jetblack Inc. from October 2018 to March 2020.

Before joining Walmart, Sherkhonov worked at Red Hat from November 2015 to October 2018, where they were a Senior Engineer Software/Senior Data Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for the architecture of Red Hat internal Data Hub, development of logging tools, maintenance and troubleshooting of Elasticsearch and Kafka clusters, operationalization of Machine Learning workloads, containerization of Data Hub components, and mentoring junior team members.

Prior to Red Hat, Sherkhonov worked at Acronis from June 2014 to October 2015 as a Project Manager. From February 2012 to June 2014, they served as an Enterprise Technical Account Manager, driving customization requests, designing solution architecture, and resolving technical issues for key accounts. Sherkhonov also held the role of Program/Project Manager from February 2008 to February 2012, managing multiple OEM projects and overseeing a team of software developers and QA engineers. Anton was responsible for implementing metrics on team performance and project analysis.

Their earlier experience includes working as a Technical Support Supervisor at Acronis from July 2006 to February 2008, where they implemented and oversaw the Support Quality Assurance program and provided technical support to corporate customers. Anton started their career as a Support Engineer at Parallels from August 2004 to July 2006.

Anton Sherkhonov completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematical Logic at Novosibirsk State University (NSU) from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2021.
