Paul Becotte

Paul Becotte has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Paul currently holds the position of Lead Engineer - SRE / DevOps at MarketAxess, which they started in June 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Systems Software Engineer at Citadel Securities from August 2021 to June 2023. From April 2019 to August 2021, Paul was a Systems Engineer at Millennium Management.

Before joining Millennium Management, they held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Narrativ from September 2017 to April 2019, and Director of Engineering from November 2016 to September 2017. Paul also has experience as a Dev Tools Engineer at LearnVest from May 2016 to November 2016.

Paul began their career at Narrativ in December 2014 as a Software Engineer, where they built a real-time exchange to connect advertisers with existing premium content. Prior to that, Paul worked as a Software Engineer at L-3 Communications from July 2013 to December 2014.

Before transitioning into the technology industry, Paul worked as a Service Technician Level IV at United Rentals from March 2011 to July 2013, where they performed maintenance and repairs on power generation and HVAC systems. Paul also served as a Technical Sergeant at Aerospace Ground Equipment Craftsman from September 2002 to March 2011. In this role, they supervised and trained apprentices and journeymen, conducted equipment maintenance, and managed compliance with regulations.

Paul Becotte earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from Strayer University between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Science and computer programming from the same institution from 2010 to 2012. In 2007, they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Aerospace Ground Equipment Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. Additionally, in 1998 and 1999, Paul attended Villanova University where they studied engineering, although they did not obtain a degree. In terms of certifications, they became a Certified Scrum Master in September 2013.
