Dounia Turrill has a wealth of experience in audience measurement and consumer insights. Dounia currently holds the role of SVP Film, TV & Streaming at MarketCast since 2020. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as an Independent Consultant, providing insights to companies and evaluating market research companies. Prior to that, they were the SVP Audience Insights at Fox Broadcasting Company from 2015 to 2017, where they were responsible for audience performance metrics and developed media optimization and planning tools. Dounia also served as the SVP, Insights at The Nielsen Company from 2010 to 2015, where they ran the global cross-platform audience measurement practice. Earlier in their career, they held research roles at The CW Network, The WB Television Network, and Nielsen Media Research.
Dounia Turrill obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1991 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed their education at the French Lycee London, where they obtained a Baccalaureat degree between 1978 and 1990.
