Tim Tisdall

Tim Tisdall has a diverse work experience in software development and backend development. Tim currently holds the position of Senior Backend Developer at Marketcircle since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Postmedia Network Inc. from November 2019 to November 2021, where they served as a Lead Developer. Their responsibilities included transitioning multiple websites to Django on AWS. Tim also worked on the development of Meal Garden from November 2015 to November 2019, where they served as the Lead Full-stack Developer. Their work involved developing a web-based application for meal planning and nutritional support. Before that, Tim worked at Engage Biomechanics from September 2012 to September 2015 as a Lead Developer, where they developed a system for the prevention of pressure ulcers. Tim also has experience as an Instructor at George Brown College Continuing Education from January 2009 to January 2012. In addition, they were a Founding Partner at Byzantium Tech Ltd. from February 2010 to December 2011, where they grew a Facebook application to over 6.5 million users. Prior to that, Tim worked as a Software Developer at KANETIX from December 2008 to June 2010, developing online quote websites for insurance companies. Tim also has experience as a Developer/Website Coordinator at McMaster University from November 2006 to September 2007, where they contributed to the development of patient medical records systems.

Tim Tisdall attended McMaster University from 1997 to 2005. In that time, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from 1997 to 2005 and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Specialist) from 1997 to 2004.
