Spencer Maughan has a long and varied work experience. Spencer began their career in 2010 as a Catalyst for the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF). In 2013, they became Co-founder & Managing Partner of Finistere Ventures and Co-founder & Chairman of Hi Fidelity Genetics. In 2016, they joined PRIME Coalition as an Investment Advisory Committee Member. In 2018, they became an American Australian Business Council Member for the American Australian Association, an Advisory Board Member for CSIRO, and a Visiting Fellow for the United States Studies Centre at the University of Sydney. In 2021, they were appointed Director of MarketDial, and in 2022 they became an Investor for Climate Robotics and a Director for Apparo Inc.
Spencer Maughan attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained an MBA. Spencer then attended the University of Melbourne, where they obtained a PhD in Genetics and a BSc (Hons) in Genetics and Biochemistry.
