David Petr

David Petr has extensive experience in economic development marketing and strategy. David is currently the CEO of Marketing Alliance, Inc. and was previously the CEO of Shortlisted, Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation, and the President of Central Florida Development Council and Winter Haven Economic Development Council. Prior to their work in economic development, they served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Lubbock Economic Development Alliance and Visit Lubbock and the President & Strategic Director of Mighty Arsenal, an advertising agency they founded. David also worked as a Copywriter for T3 and as a Senior Lecturer at The University of Texas at Austin. Throughout their career, David has a proven track record of spearheading successful strategic plans, contributing to job creation, and driving capital investment.

David Petr earned a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1994. David then went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin from 1994 to 1996. In addition, they also attended Disney University from 1991 to 1992 and received a degree called "Mousters" in Tourism & Marketing.
