Kristen Thompson

Kristen Thompson has over 17 years of experience in marketing and leadership roles. Kristen is currently the President and Chief Marketer at Thompson Marketing Partners, where they work with clients to develop and implement marketing strategies. Kristen specializes in various marketing areas such as website development, SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, online reputation management, content creation, graphic design, and proposal development.

Prior to their current role, Kristen served as the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations at Shula's Restaurants, where they led the marketing efforts for all concepts. Their responsibilities included strategy development, budgeting, PR, social media, online reputation management, content creation, vendor management, contract negotiation, PPC, SEO, website management, email marketing, gift card sales, and marketing automation.

Before joining Shula's Restaurants, Kristen worked as the Director of Marketing at Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, where they led the marketing efforts for the foodservice division. Their responsibilities included PR, social media, trade show management, advertising, email marketing, website management, content creation, event planning, vendor management, team leadership, proposal development, and budget management.

At the beginning of their career, Kristen served as a Program Manager at Drug Free America Foundation, where they promoted and managed a grant. Their tasks included designing marketing materials, maintaining the project website, hosting educational sessions, and building relationships with local business groups.

In 2019, Kristen joined Marketing Direction Outsourced Marketing Experts as a Fractional Marketing Lead Marketer.

Kristen Thompson completed their high school education at Venice High School from 1996 to 1999, earning their High School Diploma. Kristen then went on to pursue a degree in Marketing at Florida State University - College of Business from 1999 to 2003.
