Melissa Najera has a decade of experience in the marketing and operations fields. Melissa began their career in 2006 at Market Dynamics as a Veterinary Research and Operations Coordinator. In this role, they supervised daily operations for the medical stethoscopes division, coordinated production of orders and managed customer service and data accounts. Melissa also collaborated in expansion projects using different marketing tools to promote new services and products, maximized and maintained veterinary panels for different studies in assigned territory, conducted data analysis to ensure data quality of product maintenance, executed data entry and extrapolation for veterinary studies using proprietary company system, and formulated detailed operational procedures for two divisions. In 2007, they attended the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Indiana's Purdue University and received a certificate from the AAHA Veterinary Management Institute for the Human Resource Management Module.

In 2010, Najera joined Marketing Resources Inc. as a Fulfillment Manager. Melissa then moved to SLANT, Inc. in 2015 as an Account Executive. That same year, they also began working at Marketing Resources, Inc. as a Project Manager. In this role, they managed production and execution for promotional print materials, focusing on quality, security and game integrity. Melissa also developed tailored procedures for code generation, facility audits and on-site production management processes for multi-faced projects with 30-200 million codes in-market. Additionally, they frequently traveled (nationally and internationally) to witness closure, wraps, stickers, and flexible packaging start-ups for various PepsiCo promotions, among other brands, to ensure code quality, validity, and security.

Melissa Najera obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a Marketing Concentration, from Dominican University between 2002 and 2006. Melissa has also obtained various certifications, including a User Experience Design Bootcamp from General Assembly in November 2019, a Social Media Marketing Certificate from DePaul University - Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business in December 2018, a Digital Marketing Strategy Certificate from DePaul University - Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business in November 2017, a Practical Internet Marketing Certificate from DePaul University - Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business in October 2016, and a Responsive Website Basics: Code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2016.
