Jason Webb has extensive work experience in the field of journalism. Jason began their career in 1994 as a Commodities Correspondent in Latin America, where they covered commodities production and markets. Jason then worked as a Correspondent in Argentina, specializing in political and economic coverage. In 2001, they became the Bureau Chief for Colombia, Venezuela, and Ecuador, managing a team of reporters and covering major news events in the region. From 2006 to 2010, they served as the Chief Correspondent in Spain, supervising a team of international service journalists and covering the Spanish economy during the financial crisis. Jason then joined Bloomberg as an Emerging Markets Reporter, focusing on global perspectives in the emerging market story. In 2012, they worked as an EMEA Desk Editor at Thomson Reuters, subbing and rewriting political and economic copy from Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Jason moved to S&P Global Market Intelligence in 2013 as a Senior Editor, responsible for curating the Top News section and managing a team of journalists covering global markets and political risk. Most recently, Jason has been working at MNI - Market News as the Deputy Editor In Chief.
