Jill Kivett

Regional Vice President & Vice President, Sponsorship at Marketplace Events

Jill Kivett has had diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Merchandiser at the Mark Anthony Group before moving on to Shaw Cable as a Retail Sales Coordinator. In 2001, they became a Sales Consultant at Rawlco Radio, and then transitioned to TCU Place in 2002 as a Regional Sales Coordinator. At TCU Place, they marketed and promoted the convention and arts center, organized events, and handled business development. In 2003, they joined Marketplace Events as an Exhibit Sales Consultant and later became the Show Manager for Western Canada. In 2014, they became the Regional Director for Western Canada and Sponsorship Director, overseeing multiple home shows and managing a team of staff. In 2016, they were promoted to the position of Regional Vice President and Vice President of Sponsorship at Marketplace Events. Jill has extensive experience in sales, marketing, event management, and strategic decision-making.

Jill Kivett attended the University of Alberta from 1996 to 1998 where they pursued a degree in Commerce, majoring in Marketing. Additionally, they completed the Level 1 & 2 Award in Wines from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, although the specific duration of this program is unknown.
