Kristin Schwab

Kristin Schwab is a Senior Reporter and Backup Host at Marketplace by APM since January 2020, focusing on breaking news stories related to the Fed, tariffs, consumer behavior, and corporations. In addition to reporting, Kristin serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, teaching audio journalism to undergraduates, graduates, and professional journalists. Previous experience includes leading production of The Argument podcast for Transmitter Media, contributing as a per diem Producer at WNYC Radio, and working as an Audio Producer/Reporter for The Wall Street Journal. Kristin’s early career includes a role as an Associate Editor for Dance Magazine and Dance Teacher Magazine. Kristin holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from New York University.
