Samson Ibe

Samson Ibe has had a varied and successful career in product and project management. In 2017, they began their career as a Graduate Assistant at the Institute of Apparatus and Environmental Engineering, Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, where they trained over 20 undergraduate students on use of laboratory equipment, control of chemical and bio-hazardous agents and proper use of PPE. Samson also completed a full course plan on use of Aspen Plus for process simulation and taught steady state process simulation using Aspen Plus. In 2018, they took on the role of Master Thesis Student at Institut für Apparate- und Umwelttechnik (IAUT). In 2019, they became an Agile Project Coordinator at The Safety Team Inc., where they lead the agile transformation of the organization that resulted in fastest service delivery and customer satisfaction. Samson was also responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating Agile project teams, wrote test cases and performed functional and performance tests on equipment, and wrote user stories, acceptance criteria and supported the teams to define done (DoD). In 2020, they joined JBS as a Product Owner, where they completed and delivered high value products including Employee incident reporting system (Safety) and interactive employee management system (HR). Samson also attended and co-facilitated backlog refinements, release planning, quarterly planning and all the scrum events. Finally, in 2022, they began their current role as Product Owner at MarketTime, where they identify project/product visions and creates roadmaps to guide execution.

Samson Ibe has an education history that includes a Master's Degree in Process Safety and Environmental Engineering from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg from 2016 to 2018, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka from 2007 to 2012.
