Channel Lead (Paid Search)

Position Overview:

Marketwake is experiencing rapid growth and is searching for a dynamic Paid Search Lead to join our Paid Media team. This role will focus on driving forward our Paid Search initiatives while taking on a leadership role within the paid media team, mentoring and training Media Managers. The ideal candidate will possess the skills to manage day-to-day campaign operations, derive actionable insights from client reporting, and strategize media campaigns to enhance our clients’ media performance. This position requires a seasoned critical thinker and problem-solver who can adapt quickly and take a proactive, goal-centric approach to their work.

Joining the Marketwake Paid Media team means you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping innovative media strategies that elevate our clients’ performance. You’ll work in a dynamic, creative environment, collaborating with talented marketers to drive impactful growth for both Marketwake and our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic management of Paid Search campaigns, demonstrating proficiency in Google Ads and Microsoft (Bing), across a diverse portfolio of businesses
  • Mentor and train Media Managers, providing guidance on campaign management best practices, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Develop insightful tactical reports and work towards automation, increasing efficiency in campaign operations
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to implement and optimize clients’ digital strategies, aligning with organizational goals
  • Work with the Paid Media and Account Management teams to plan upcoming media campaigns, laying the groundwork for impactful and high-performing initiatives
  • Coordinate and lead discussions with third-party vendors to discuss ongoing account enhancements and strategic launches
  • Ensure project deadlines are met and deliver excellent work through cross-functional internal collaboration
  • Stay abreast of cutting-edge tools, technologies, and media beta opportunities to continually enhance campaign performance

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of media experience
  • Bachelor's degree in PR, Marketing, Advertising, or Communications, preferred but not mandatory.
