Paul Witkowski

Paul Witkowski has over 20 years of professional experience in the accounting and financial reporting fields. Paul began their career in 1999 as a Senior Associate at KPMG LLP. In 2002, they moved to Constellation Energy as a Principal Accounting Analyst. In 2005, they became Manager of Financial Reporting at Educate, Inc. and in 2007, they were appointed Director of Financial Reporting at Algeco Scotsman. In 2014, Paul Witkowski took the role of Director, Accounting & Reporting and Director - Financial Reporting and Accounting Policy at Apex Tool Group, LLC. From 2017, they worked as a Project Consultant at Randstad USA, Clearview Group (MD) and AC Lordi. In 2018, Paul Witkowski joined MarketWise as Senior Director of Financial Reporting and then Director of Financial Reporting. Additionally, in 2017 they worked as an Accounting Consultant, providing implementation support for the new revenue recognition standard, ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers, as well as technical accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, SEC reporting, audit and process improvement support in both US GAAP and IFRS reporting environments.

Paul Witkowski obtained a BA in Accounting from the University of Baltimore between 1997 and 1999. Paul also attended Calvert Hall College High School from 1983 to 1987. In addition, they hold a Certified Public Accountant certification from the State of Maryland.
