Dr. William Cherniak

Dr. William Cherniak is a highly accomplished medical professional and entrepreneur, serving as the Founder and CEO of Rocket Doctor since March 2020. Currently, Dr. Cherniak holds positions as Associate Faculty at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where a course on global health entrepreneurship is developed and taught, and as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Alberta Health Services and Markham Stouffville Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Cherniak is a Board Advisor for OntarioMD and has co-founded and chairs Bridge to Health Medical and Dental, which provides sustainable healthcare to over 45,000 patients in Uganda and Kenya. An assistant professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Cherniak's educational background includes a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins, a Family Medicine Residency from the University of Toronto, and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Calgary.
