Sharon Chilcott

Sharon is the Managing Director & Associate General Counsel Employment & Litigation, and Corporate Secretary for the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, where she leads a team of legal and board governance professionals. In addition to her role as Corporate Secretary, she oversees the delivery of strategic legal advice on litigation, employment, immigration and commercial contract matters, globally. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers’ in 2014, Sharon was in private practice in Ontario and the United Kingdom, most recently as partner at the firm Filion Wakely. Sharon is a graduate of University of Toronto (LL.B) and York University, Glendon College ( B.A. Bilingual) and was called to the bar in 1997 (Ontario) and was admitted as a solicitor in 1999 (England & Wales).
