Clark Shipley

Clark Shipley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and materials procurement. Currently serving as Purchasing Manager and Planning Manager at Coherent Inc. since November 2019, Clark oversees a team of buyers and is responsible for inventory control, production material delivery, and planning operations for the DPSS Business Unit. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Materials at Capella Photonics, where complete supply-chain ownership was established, and roles in materials management at companies such as Peripheral Computer Support and Vitesse Semiconductor. Clark’s career began at Seagate Technology and includes positions focused on operations and planning, demonstrating a robust background in optimizing supply chain functions. Educationally, Clark attended Cabrillo College and graduated from Harbor High School.
