David Buhaenko

David Buhaenko has had a successful career in the semiconductor industry, holding various leadership positions at well-known companies. David currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at Marki Microwave since November 2020. Prior to that, David was the Senior Director of Product Engineering and Program Management at Renesas Electronics America from October 2018 to October 2020. Before joining Renesas, they worked as the Senior Director of Product Engineering in the RF Division at IDT - Integrated Device Technology, Inc. from March 2017 to October 2018. David also served as the Director of Product Development Engineering at Peregrine Semiconductor from March 2015 to March 2017. David had a significant tenure at Freescale Semiconductor, where they held the position of Senior Manager of Business Operations and Engineering from 2010 to 2015, and as the Director of Operations for the Sensor & Actuator Solutions division from 2009 to 2010. Prior to Freescale, David worked as the Director of Quality and Operations at Sequoia Communications from 2007 to 2009. Their career began at Texas Instruments, where they held several roles, including New Product Introduction Manager from 2004 to 2007, and Process Engineering Manager from 1995 to 2004. Earlier in their career, David worked as a Research Manager at Kobe Steel Limited from 1991 to 1995, focusing on the development of thin chemical vapor deposited diamond films for transistor applications. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership and extensive experience in product engineering, program management, and operations.

David Buhaenko has a BSc in Chemistry from The University of Manchester. David also holds a PhD in Semiconductor Chemistry and Surface Science from the same institution.
