Harley Berman

Harley Berman is an experienced RF/Microwave Engineer II at Marki Microwave since July 2019, where responsibilities include characterizing MMIC and hybrid-assembled components and debugging board layouts as an applications engineer. Previous roles include RF Payload Engineer for SlugSat, focusing on a linear transponder's Automatic Gain Control and antenna duplexer system, and Resident Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where project management and student mentorship were key duties. Harley also served as an Upper Division Electrical Engineering Tutor, and as an Electrical Engineer Intern at Bioin Soluciones, contributing to an automated intravenous anesthesia touchscreen system. Additional experience includes leadership as Formula SAE Electric - Solar Project Lead for UCSC Formula Slug, and various internship positions at Lightbend, Inc., managing data and research tasks. Harley holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University.
