Juraj Polák

Juraj Polák is a Senior Lawyer at Markiza - Slovakia (CME) since September 2018, previously serving as a Senior Legal Advisor at RTVS from October 2014 to August 2018. In addition to these roles, Juraj was a Member of the High-Level Expert Group on Fake News with the European Commission for a brief period in 2017-2018. Juraj held the position of Vice-Chairperson at the European Platform of Regulatory Authorities in mid-2014 and worked as a Legal Expert at the Office of the Council for Broadcasting and Retransmission of the Slovak Republic from April 2007 to October 2014. Juraj holds a Master's degree in Law from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave and completed high school in Minnesota, USA, as well as earning a Maturita from Gymnázium, Pankúchova 6.
