Emily Porter

Emily is responsible for contracts and procurement functions for Markon. She has 18+ years of contracts and compliance related experience with both large and small Government Contractors. She serves as Markon’s Small Business Liaison Officer and provides oversight and guidance for contract formation and negotiation of various contract agreements in accordance with corporate policy and business objectives.

Emily serves as a “connector” between contracts and other departments and is skilled at finding creative ways to overcome contracts-related challenges. She has an additional 18+ years’ experience with Pricing, Price to Win Analysis, Service Contract Act Compliance, CPSR Compliance and GSA Schedules.

She is a member of the National Contracts Management Association and has held leadership positions with her local chapter. She earned a Chemical Engineering degree from Louisiana State University and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. Emily was the recipient of the 2018 Markon Business Development Award and has been with the company since 2015.
