Ivan Burkett

Ivan is currently serving as Deputy Program Manager on one of Markon’s largest contracts, the DIA Technical Services contract and represents the DIA Defense Attaché Service at the Department of State Overseas Buildings Operations. He has more than 35 years of experience in construction, project, and program management operations supporting the DOD, DC Courts, Intelligence, and Diplomatic Communities.

He is a proven leader and manager with 20 years of military service delivering projects worldwide with the U.S. Navy Seabees. Ivan joined Markon in 2010 and quickly turned a 1 FTE contract with the District of Columbia Courts into a 15 FTE contract responsible for a portfolio of $663 million worth of projects and 1.4 million square feet of space.

Ivan is a graduate of Excelsior College and earned a Master's Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University. He is a certified Project Management Professional, Construction Manager, and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
