John Sillings

John Sillings is an experienced professional with a diverse background in product management and equity analysis. Currently, Sillings works in growth roles at Checksum and MarkovML, contributing to the expansion of both companies since March 2023. Previously, Sillings served as Director of Product Management at Stanza and founded Mini Exhibitions, a virtual events provider for remote teams, along with Art in Res, a marketplace for fine art by independent artists. Sillings has a solid foundation in equity analysis, having worked with Karani Asset Management and LAGODA INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT, LP. Sillings began a career in finance at U.S. Trust, where a strong focus on fundamental analysis was developed. Educational qualifications include degrees in Economics from New York University and Hamilton College, along with participation in the Y Combinator program in 2020.
