Martin Ruth

Martin Ruth has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies.

In 2010, they interned as a Finance & Accounting intern at CH2M HILL.

In 2012, they interned as an International Controlling intern at Henkel and later joined KPMG US as a Senior Associate from October 2012 until July 2015.

From July 2017 to November 2017, they worked as a Manager in Sustainable Food Systems at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).

From November 2015 to January 2022, Martin worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Project Leader, Consultant, and Associate.

Currently, Martin serves as a Strategy & Growth Executive at MARKT-PILOT since February 2022. Martin also has experience as a Director of Operations, Finance & Strategy at the same company before taking up their current role as VP Finance & Operations, starting from February 2023.

Martin Ruth completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance & Accounting at Goethe University Frankfurt from 2009 to 2012. In 2011, they participated in an exchange semester at Chulalongkorn University Bangkok, studying Economics and Finance. Martin then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Management at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht from 2013 to 2015. During their Master's program, in 2014, Martin attended Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management for a brief period to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Martin later went on to TU Dortmund University, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), also referred to as Dr. rer. pol., in the field of Entrepreneurship, Personality, and Innovation from 2018 to 2020.
