Development Coordinator at Marla Studios

Ashly Dudel has held a number of roles in the media and public relations fields since 2010. Ashly began their career as a Research Assistant for the Institute for Conflict Research in 2010, followed by a Marketing Campaign Coordinator for Reality Changers in 2014. In 2016, they were an Press Relations Intern for the Embassy of Mexico in Germany and in 2017 they were a Marketing and Public Relations Assistant for the Hertie School of Governance and a Marketing Communications Assistant for the Center for Intersectional Justice (CIJ). In the same year, they also held the role of Meet US Representative for the US Embassy in Germany, where they led 20 talks on US immigration policy and diversity, designed 5 flexible curricula, and improved learning comprehension by 75%. In 2019, they were a Film and Media Researcher for Humboldt University of Berlin and in 2021 they are currently an Executive Assistant to the CEO at Marla Studios and a Production Assistant for the “Shared Differences” TV Pilot.

Ashly Dudel received a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University in 2012, majoring in International Comparative Studies (AB) and German Literature (AB). In 2011, they participated in a study abroad program at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Ashly then returned to Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from 2015 to 2020 to earn a Master of Arts in South- and Southeast Asian Studies.
