Joris Keijzer has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Joris co-founded Marleen Kookt in 2011, where they were responsible for logistics, systems, legal, and administration. Prior to that, Joris served as an advisor to Peecho, a print-internet start-up. Joris also owned feestkoe from 2009 to 2012. Joris was the CEO of Albumprinter.com from 2005 to 2009, where they played a key role in establishing the company as the leading on-demand publisher in Europe. Before that, they worked at Albert Heijn, where they created and managed AH Mobile, the first supermarket-branded mobile telecom provider in the world, and achieved profitability within the first year. Joris also worked as a manager in home shopping at Ahold USA.
Joris Keijzer commenced their education journey in 1990 at the University of Groningen, where they pursued a Drs. (MA) degree in Business Economics. Joris dedicated himself to the program until 1995. During this time, Joris participated in an exchange program at the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management in 1994-1995, focused on obtaining an MBA. In the same year, they also attended Cornell University, specifically engaging in an M. Eng degree program specializing in Operational and Industrial Engineering.
