Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan
Isabelle Knapp currently serves as the Head Teacher at Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, having begun their role in September 2020. Previous experience includes positions as an Associate Teacher and a Student Teacher at Barnard College Toddler Center, where responsibilities involved facilitating learning for toddlers and participating in a child development research seminar. Isabelle also worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Barnard College Psychology Department, where support was provided to college students, and as a Tutor with Reading Partners, focusing on improving elementary students' reading skills. Additional roles include a Development Intern at Reading Partners and a Research Assistant at Columbia University's Dynamic Perception and Memory Lab. Isabelle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and French from Barnard College and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Early Childhood General and Special Education at Hunter College.
