Sheryl Parker

Director, The Joseph Stern Center for Social Responsibility at Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan

Sheryl Parker is a seasoned leader in social responsibility and nonprofit management with extensive experience in strategic vision development and community engagement. Currently serving as the Director of the Joseph Stern Center for Social Responsibility at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, Sheryl has successfully partnered with over 50 local organizations to tackle social justice issues since July 2019. Prior roles include Director of the Time for Good initiative at UJA-Federation of New York, where Sheryl managed significant grantmaking efforts and strengthened volunteer engagement across numerous nonprofits. With a strong foundation in program management and a commitment to capacity building, Sheryl has previously consulted for various organizations and held leadership positions at Coro New York Leadership Center and New York Cares, notably leading disaster response initiatives. Sheryl holds an MSPH in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in Biology from Middlebury College.
