Alecia Wood

Alecia Wood has a diverse range of work experience in various roles in the food and media industries. Alecia is currently the Head of Content at Marley Spoon since June 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Food Journalist and Content Consultant as a freelancer, where they wrote features and took photographs for print and digital publications, focusing on food, farming, climate, and sustainability topics. Their work has been published in various digital and print titles including VICE, Gourmet Traveller, The Guardian, and more. Alecia also served as a Non-Executive Director at Youth Food Movement Australia from May 2020 to March 2023. Before that, they worked as a Senior Communications Manager and Brand Experience Manager at Ooni Pizza Ovens from 2018 to 2020. Other previous roles include Editorial Consultant at FAO from 2016 to 2018, Content Coordinator at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from 2012 to 2013, and Fellowship Coordinator at Pollinate Group in 2013.
