Aziz Sharipov

Aziz Sharipov has a diverse work experience in the field of software development.

Aziz currently works as a Software Engineer at Marley Spoon, where they have completed the integration of a third-party loyalty program service for the Australian region. Aziz has also made improvements to the Funnel process by replacing close-coupled components with isolated and independent services, making it easier to debug and track. Additionally, they have contributed to moving business logic from the Monolith application to Microservices with extended functionality.

Prior to their current role, Aziz worked as a Senior Ruby Developer at Nitka from October 2020 to July 2021.

Before joining Nitka, they were a Full-stack Developer at Sapa Software LLP from March 2019 to November 2020. During this time, they led a software team and analysts, implemented the backend using Ruby on Rails, and designed the frontend with Angular.js. Aziz also successfully completed 5 integrations with third-party services and implemented a reporting constructor with the ability to upload complex reports to Excel and PDF.

From April 2017 to March 2019, Aziz worked as a Full-stack Developer at FLYSMS, where they were responsible for maintaining and expanding the backend and frontend parts of the project. Aziz also played a role in the progressive upgrade of the monolith project from Rails 4.

Their earliest work experience was as a Full-stack Developer at iBEC Systems from January 2016 to April 2017. During this time, they created several medium projects using the Laravel framework and was involved in the development, management, and maintenance of a remote Canadian project.

Throughout their career, Aziz has gained proficiency in various technologies, including Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Angular.js, PHP, Laravel, and Vue.

Aziz Sharipov's education history begins in 2009, when they enrolled at the Almaty University of Power Engineering & Telecommunications. Aziz pursued a Master's degree in Automation and Control and completed their studies in 2015. In the same year, Aziz attended the Firehose Project, where they focused on learning Ruby on Rails, Javascript, Test Driven Development, and Agile methodologies.

In addition to their formal education, Aziz has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they completed the "Professional Rails Code Along" course from Udemy, followed by "The Complete JavaScript Course: Build a Real-World Project" in August of the same year. In 2018, they earned a certification in "Build Responsive Real World Websites with HTML5 and CSS3" from Udemy. In 2019, they pursued the "AWS Serverless APIs & Apps - A Complete Introduction" course from Udemy.

Recently, in November 2021, Aziz obtained a certification in "Docker and Kubernetes: The complete guide" from Udemy. Going back to their earlier skill development, Aziz completed the "Intensive Speaking (Advanced)" program offered by Tamos Education in June 2012. Lastly, they achieved an IELTS certification from the British Council Kazakhstan in February 2014.
