Liya Cui

Liya Cui is an experienced editor and journalist currently serving as a Freelance Editor and Managing Recipe Editor at Marley Spoon since January 2021. Previously, Liya worked as a National Affairs Reporter at Reuters from June to September 2024 and held various roles at Keywee, evolving from Junior Copywriter to Creative Team Lead between March 2019 and January 2021. Additionally, Liya gained editorial experience as a Junior Contributing Editor at CulEpi from January 2018 to December 2020. Liya holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, with studies continuing until December 2024, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Literary Studies with a focus on Nonfiction Writing from The New School from 2016 to 2018.
