Liam Symington is an Associate Director at Marlin Equity Partners. Liam has over thirteen years of experience working in turnaround and transformation for large organizations. Their previous positions include various roles at KPMG UK, where they worked on the 'Business Recovery Project of the Year' - the Blacks CVA in 2010 - and led a project to identify working capital reductions for an Oil company's South African business. Liam has also worked in a small team to write a turnaround plan for an upstream oil and gas Joint Venture in Qatar, investigated restructuring options for a European-based airline, and worked with colleagues to identify working capital reductions at a UK/Ireland retailer.

Liam Symington's educational career began with an academy course at the Institute for Turnaround. Liam then went on to study ACA at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. After completing their ACA, Liam studied accounting and finance at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Finally, prior to Pursglove College, Liam studied maths, accounting, and French.
