Per Rune Iversen

Per Rune Iversen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Per Rune most recently worked as the VP Sales Humanitarian & NGO at Marlink starting in June 2016. Prior to that, from January 2015 to May 2016, they served as the Airbus Group VP/Head of Humanitarian. From June 2007 to December 2014, they held the position of Sales Director UN Global Accounts at Airbus DS. Before joining Airbus, they worked as an Area Sales Manager Europe at DEFA AS from February 2003 to February 2006. Per Rune also served as General Manager at Dimension Norway AS from February 2000 to January 2003, and as General Manager at Sun Microsystems AS from April 1989 to December 1999. Earlier in their career, they held technical and analyst roles at Daisy Systems and Tandberg Data.

Per Rune Iversen earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from South Dakota Mines from 1984 to 1986. During the same time period, they also pursued studies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where they obtained a degree as a Sivilingeniør. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1984, they attended Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, where they received an Engineer degree in Cybernetics/Automation. In addition to their formal education, Per Rune Iversen obtained a certification as a NETHOPE Virtual Global Summit 2020 Delegate from NetHope in October 2020.
