Usman Tahir

Usman Tahir began their work experience in 2000 as a Design Engineer at Communications Enabling Technologies. Usman then joined Snom Technology GmbH in 2001, initially working as a Senior Software Engineer before moving on to become a Product Manager and later the VP of Product Management. In 2012, Tahir became the CTO and Executive Director at Snom Technology GmbH before leaving in 2014. From 2014 to 2017, Tahir worked as a Product Manager for Satellite Communications at Airbus. Most recently, they joined Marlink in 2018 as the Product Director.

Usman Tahir obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) between 1996 and 2000. Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of the Punjab during the years 1998 to 2000.

Furthermore, Usman achieved a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on International Business from the University of Stuttgart from 2006 to 2008. During the same period, they participated in an MBA Exchange Program at SDA Bocconi, specializing in Corporate Finance.

Usman engaged in another MBA Exchange Program at the National Chengchi University in 2007, concentrating on International Trade and Commerce.
